Bikini body diet

As the time for bikinis approaches, we all want to look our best. This is easier than you may think if you follow a bikini body diet. There will be multiple variations of this, and there is no set Mantra. However, there are lots of hints and tips to follow that will certainly have you bikini ready.

What foods will help me look good in my bikini?

There are plenty of foods and drinks you should avoid, and plenty you should embrace in order to achieve a bikini body. A bikini body diet will always tell you to avoid foods high in fat and sugar, as well as avoiding processed foods. Making sure you do not overeat in the Carbohydrate department is important too.

That is not to say avoid carbohydrates altogether, your body needs these. Just ensure you don’t have large portions of these, or eat them in every meal. When choosing your carbohydrates be sure to choose whole grains, oats and natural varieties. For example, porridge is a great breakfast, and brown rice or pasta are perfect as part of your meals.

Keeping a fair amount of lean protein and plenty of fruits and vegetables in your diet are also essential to success. Try and go for protein such as beans and lentils as well as lean chicken, turkey and fish. The variety will help keep you interested too.

Tips and hints to help you succeed your bikini body

First of all, drink plenty of water. Green Tea is a great drink too as it has lots of antioxidants that speed up metabolism and inhibit fat absorption. Other great drinks are Cranberry and Grapefruit Juice, Cranberry is high in Vitamin C which will help your skin glow, and Grapefruit has fat burning properties.

Chilli peppers and spices can help speed up metabolism too. As can Cucumber, it is a great fat burner too. Kale, Spinach and Broccoli are all full of essential vitamins and Iron, and very low calorie. Asparagus is the same, but also boosts skin health and is jam packed with vital vitamins. They can also help reduce bloating and water retention, so great news for a bikini body.

Food and drink swaps can help out immensely; little changes make a big difference. Try swapping your usual snacks for smaller portions of healthier foods. Fresh fruit, veggies and unsalted nuts make good snacks. Choosing salads, lean protein and ditching the sauces/dressings can make all the difference at lunchtime too.

When it comes to drinks, try to make your main fluid water, and swap OJ for Cranberry and Grapefruit. Also, if you can, pick Green Tea and Peppermint Tea instead of regular Tea and Coffee. Your body will thank you. Adding Almond Milk, Rice Milk or Soya Milk to regular Tea and Coffee, as well as cereal is another weight loss and healthy glow booster.

What Bikinis to wear?

Now you have that all-important bikini body, you need the ideal Bikini to flaunt it. All the hard work and dietary changes have paid off, and it’s time to flaunt what you’ve got.
